WWII Schmidt's Olive Drab Cone Top

USBC 184-32 Withdrawn Free of Internal Revenue tax for Exportation. C. Schmidt and Sons Philadelphia, PA

This can is the dull finish Olive Drab green, and the letters are black.

The side of this can has "3/3 AM 5" scratched in the side which I take to be Saturday, March 3rd, 1945. The most notable event that day was the Battle of Manilla ended in an Allied victory. Patton's 3rd Army also crossed the Rhine in March 1945. I know this can was issued in Italy as well as I turned up a case of them from central Italy a couple of years ago.  It might have been sent to Europe and the Pacific.
