WWII Pfeiffer's Beer Flat Top

USBC 113-38 Withdrawn Free of Internal Revenue tax for Exportation. Pfeiffer Brewing Company, Detroit, MI

This can is flat/matte finish olive drab, and the letters are black.

There were a undisclosed number of these found about 15 years ago. Any clean Olive Drab is very difficult to find. Issued during WWII 1942-45, this is Withdrawn Free can was issued overseas to the Army. On the side of the can it reads, "Pfeiffer's Famous Beer Follows You Around the World in This Special Overseas Can" and also in this case the lid reads "Disregard Statement Withdrawn Free of Internal Revenue Tax for Exportation, Internal Revenue Tax Paid" so this particular can was consumed at a stateside base or in a U.S. Territory.
