This can is Dark Semi-Metallic olive drab, and the letters are black.

Semi-metallic Dark Olive Drab issued during WWII 1942-45. I have seen sevral different shades of OD in this can, also it seems that many un-filledcans were used as shoe polish cans after the war. Not sure where if these were ever acruall filled with beer at all.
